“My philosophy is to provide continuity of quality care to my patients.  I chose to be based in Woolloongabba so that I am in close proximity to the Mater Private Hospital.  The Mater has a full range of facilities for both mother and baby.  I only deliver at one hospital to maximise my availability to patients in rooms and delivery suites.”

Dr Mooring moved to Australia after completing her undergraduate medical degree in the UK.  She undertook her FRANZCOG training in Queensland and has spent over 9 years in the specialty.  She has a special interest in Hypertensive Disorders of Pregnancy after an inspiring lecture on pre-eclampsia drew her to the specialty during her medical student time.  This interest continues to this day. 

The majority of work has been in tertiary hospitals where she has subsequently gained significant experience in the management of complex obstetrics cases including those complicated by medical disorders. 

Dr Mooring has a keen interest in women's health issues and has published research and contributed towards book chapters for clinical practice textbooks in both gynaecology and obstetrics.  She has been involved in both undergraduate and postgraduate training in her field and has been awarded by her colleagues for her efforts.

Charlotte is a mother of 2 young children, both delivered at the Mater Mothers' Hospital, Brisbane.
